Who needs a sleeper truck
If your freight keeps you out for several days at a time, a sleeper is the tool that makes the route work. Hours-of-service rules require extended rest breaks, and a sleeper lets that rest happen in the truck instead of a motel.
Regional and local drivers who are home most nights may be better served by a day cab. Our day cab vs. sleeper truck guide compares the two in detail.
Choosing the right sleeper
Match sleeper size to your trip lengths. A bigger sleeper adds comfort, but it also adds weight and can cost more. Compare engine, transmission and mileage on each listing, then ask for service records so you can judge how the truck was maintained.
If you hire drivers, cab comfort affects retention as much as anything else, so it is worth looking closely at bunk condition and climate control.
Financing and trade-ins
Bluway's in-house financing includes programs for first-time buyers and established fleets. If you have a truck to trade, ask for an appraisal before you shop so you know what it brings to the deal.
Estimate a payment
Use the payment calculator on this page with your own price, down payment, rate and term. Bluway does not publish standard rates; actual terms depend on credit approval, the truck and the lender program. Apply for financing or read how semi truck financing works.
